My Comments Policy! whee

(and other technical hoo-hah)

Basically, my blog...my rules.  A blog (or a message board) is, generally speaking, not a democracy.  Whoever owns it/runs it is the boss.  Not allowing hateful bullshit to be spewed isn't a violation of one's right to free speech.  If I prevented you in some form or fashion from getting your own blog where you could go to town talking your own special brand of shit, THEN we could talk about me oppressing you.

If you leave a comment that is a festival of hate and dumb and troll, I'm not going to publish it.

The kind of sucky thing is that thanks to my particular workplace, I'm unable to moderate comments until I get home.  So, unless I post on a weekend and I have semi-immediate access to my PC, it'll be difficult to have true dialogue/back-and-forthing/gasbagging take place on Casual Blasphemies.  Which is a drag.  But I absolutely appreciate and downright adore that people are taking the time to read my blog, leave comments, and hopefully dig on what I'm putting down.  I'm so pleased this community exists and is starting to cook and thrive.
